Besides Flight, traveling by Ferry/boat is also a nice choice if you have more time and would like to enjoy a nice view on the way. But ferries/boats are depending too much on the weather conditions. So if you travel in the raining and typhoon season from June to Oct. we suggest that you don't choose the ferry/boat for a long term plan. You will get a confirmed answer maybe just one week in advance if there is typhoon or not.

The distance between Hai'an Guangdong Province and Xingang New Harbor Haikou Hainan Island is just 11 sea miles. There are ferries at around every one hour between the two places. So it is very convenient. The price is also cheap only RMB30/person, just chairs.
