It is a great idea to camp on a quiet beach in Sanya Hainan Island. We checked some beaches and would like to recommend the Moon Bay in Sanya Park which is located in the west of Sanya, 50 km away from downtown Sanya.

How to get to Sanya Camping Center in Sanya Park:

By bus: There is bus running Sanya Downtown Sanya to Sanya Park and costs RMB10/way from downtown Sanya, please get on the bus from Yalong Bay, or Dadonghai Yuya Road, or Downtown Sanya near KFC.

By taxi: It costs RMB100/way.

Facilities & services at Sanya Camping Center:

The Moon Bay Camping Center is located in Sanya Park. There are cottage with private bathroom, TV,but no telephone, no internet. If you rent a camper on the beach, there are public bathrooms and showers.

Also a small restaurant, so quite nice for 1-2 nights stay

Sanya Camping Center Prices: one camp costs RMB250/night including the entranc fee to Sanya Park, one beachfront cottage (double or twin beds) ocsts RMB598/night with 2 entrance fee to Sanya Park & breakfasts (set menu Chinese or western for your choice).
