It is easy to get around or find a local transportation in Sanya Hainan Island. You will find several ways to get around in downtown Sanya Hainan Island. For your information, it is not possible to rent a motorcycle in Sanya. But you could rent a scooter in Sanya to drive around in Sanya. The battery lasts around 1 hour. It costs around RMB50-100/hour.

TAXI:
Taxi is available all over Sanya. It can take you anywhere you want. The drivers don't speak English So ask your travel agency or hotel staff for help. They may tell the driver where to go and write a piece of paper with the name of the hotel or get their name card. Most of Taxi don't use the meters. You may get the information from the hotels you stay. There is a standing poster in the lobby with the taxi rates to most of the destinations.

B: Dadonghai to Sanya Bus Station & Jiefang Road(main street), Hongqi Street(very shopping street) by Bus .No.202 & 204

C．Dadonghai to Sanya Train Station: Bus.204

D．Dadonghai to Lubi Caves, Hainan University Sanya College: Bus.207

E: Sanya Airport Shuttle Bus: RMB10/person/way to Downtown Sanya and Dadonghai for every flight. But no confirmed schedule time from Downtown or Dadonghai to Sanya Airport, so please take a taxi or book our transfer service.

Rent A Car/ Car Rental/Driving Travel in Sanya & Haikou Hainan Island

Two years ago, it was very hard to rent a car or a van in Sanya to drive by yourself. Now it is much easier and more choices. What you need to prepare is your passport, your arrival air tickets, drivers license, deposit by cash or by credit card, and of course sign a contract with the company. The company will drive the car or van you require to your hotel and you can rent in Sanya and return in Haikou. Daily rental is limited to 8 hours or 300-400 Kilometers (depends on different companies). There are choices of local car, van or international ones. Prices range from USD38/day to 1250/day depending on what kind of car you want.
