Sanya is good for holiday all year around. To have a better money value holiday, we would like to recommend the following:

If you wish to have a nice and warm holiday, then Late October till early March is good time. This is also the high season of Sanya Hainan Island. Christmas & New Year (23^rd  Dec. – 3^rd Jan) are also good time to visit.

If you are looking for a quite holiday at the best possible rates despite the strong sunshine, then April, May  till Early July and September are good time to make holidays in Sanya Summer holiday (July and August) is also a nice time to visit. But it is raining season too.

Labor Days (30 April - 7 May), National Days (30 Sept. - 7 Oct ) is also ok to make holiday if it is your only choice in a year.

Time not to make holiday in Sanya Hainan Island is Chinese New Year (Late Jan to early Feb.) All the hotels will be fully booked and very crowded. Sometimes you have to queue a long time to get seated for breakfast and all the hotels will increase their rates from 5-10times. And you discounted ai tickets available. Then you have to pay USD600 for round trip Beijing-Sanya. While normally you could get a good ate at USD300 per person for 4 nights stay in Sanya.

VERY GOOD MONEY VALUE DAYS ARE ONE WEEK BEFORE O ONE AFTER THE CHINESE HOLIDAYS INCLUDING Labor Days (30 April - 7 May), National Days (30 Sept. - 7 Oct ), Chinese New Year (Late Jan to early Feb.).

Sanya’s casual attitude makes packing a breeze. From Febuary.till November, shorts, T-shirts are usually all that is needed. For December and January especially during the evening, you need to prepare long pants and coat. Sun blocks, sandals, swimming wear sun glasses are the must for you holiday in Sanya. Umbrella is not requested as you could get from the hotels/resorts you stay.
