Sanya Hainan Island to Hong Kong by Bus

There is no ferry Sanya to Hong Kong, so by bus  is the cheapest way to travel from Sanya to Hong Kong. Save more than RMB1000/way/person than flight Sanya to Hong Kong or Sanya-Shenzhen, then Bus to Hong Kong

The bus with full air condition start at 13:50 daily from Sanya, but you don't get to Hong Kong directly by the same bus. The bus will arrive in Shenzhen at 0630am where you go through the customs and change to another bus. You will arrive in Hong Kong at 0830am. So total 19 hours from Sanya to Hong Kong. But you don't just sit for 19 hours. There are hard sleepers in the bus like pull out bed. Of course, not as comfortable as a real bed. Space is limited.

It costs RMB333/person/way (USD43) with one mineral water and one dinner box.  Don't worry, there is a toilet on the bus and also TV to show VCD. But most times, noisy Hong Kong movies. Please prepare your MP3 for the long trip.
