Yalong
Bay Beach, 40 minutes from Sanya
Airport, 20 minutes from Sanya Downtown Sanya, Sanya Bus Station &
Sanya Train Station, 3.5 hours from Haikou Airport.
Yalong
bay Golf Club-China Top 10 Clubs
is within walking distance.
Sun Valley Club is 5 minutes driving away from Hilton Resort
& Spa Yalong Bay.

Review after personal visit & stay over 10 times: It was
in 1998 that Caddie Lu and her colleagues of
Gloria Resort stayed in
Cactus Resort which is a sister resort of Gloria Resort. At
that time, the local travel agencies booked Cactus for
groups as a three star resort. Cactus prices ranged from
CNY200-400/night with Chinese breakfast. This situation
lasted till 2004 when the management decided to renovate.
Caddie Lu couldn't find any feeling of the old Cactus except
the exterior. It is a total new Resort and the sales team
promote Cactus Resort as a five star resort. But Caddie Lu
believes Cactus is far from a five star resort because of
the tiny rooms and limited services. But considering the
prices of Cactus Resort, it is still
a nice choice if you are looking for a
holiday with clean room, buffet breakfast, a huge swimming pool,
a big tropical garden and
beach relaxing on Yalong Bay. You have to walk across a
small street to the Yalong Bay Beach. Though Cactus is not
right on Yalong Bay Beach, the they still managed to hold
private beach on the Yalong Bay Beach with beach umbrellas,
chairs and safe guide. No beach bar, you have to bring
towels from your room and some drinks also.
Shuttle Bus services from Cactus Resort in Yalong Bay to
Downtown Sanya at 10am & 4pm. All Cactus Resort guests
get comp. admission to Yalong Bay central square and
Butterfly Park. 4
shuttle buses daily to drive you from Cactus Resort Sanya to the Yalong Bay Beach at 9am,11am, 3pm & 5pm.
Food & Beverage:
Atrium Cafe offers mainly
Mexican, Japanese, Eurasian cuisine and barbecued seafood.;
Resort Diner mainly
serves Sichuan cuisine and Cantonese food prepared by famous
chefs from Chongqing and Guangzhou, as well as delicious
Northeastern dishes and local food; the Mayan-styled
Lobby Lounge offers premium
Chinese tea, a variety of freshly-grounded coffee, wines and
beverages, while sitting in Moon Bar,
you will have a very beautiful scenery of vast sea, tropical
garden and the biggest outdoor swimming pool.
