Caddie Lu's Review after personal visit:

Caddie Lu visited Ritz-Carlton a few times, but never has a chance to stay over night.  So the impression is just from the inspection tours. Ritz-Carlton is really huge like a public area. NO reception in the lobby (The sales manager said that all check in will be done in guests rooms). The corridors on both sides of the lobby are really long, wide and open, feeling like in a big museum or park. Many restaurants and nice spa treatment. All rooms are very spacious with a very big balcony, each single room is 1.5 meters wide, very soft and high that you have to crawl to your bed. This is European style. I guest most Chinese especially the aged ones will complain that the beds are too soft like my mom. BUT everything in the room is in right angel: chairs, tables, lights, washing bin. Even the gardens and pools are in right angel.

Ritz-Carlton Rooms are the most Spacious Rooms on Yalong Bay and private balcony for all rooms. A real private beach lasts more than 700 meters long. 2 Adults Pools and 2 children pools. Great tropical gardens. All guests enjoy in room check-in, so you don't have to queue in the lobby. The largest spa in Yalong Bay (2,788-square-meter/30,009-sq-ft) is designed and operated by the world-famous SPA offering lavish and relaxing aromatherapy and beauty treatments. The only ocean front wedding chapel in Sanya with breath taking backdrops is really impressive.

Cube: Located in the pool, this bar features Lady Coco who introduces an innovative spin on cool beverages that quench the thirst of sunbathers and swimmers lounging poolside. Tasty snacks and delectable temptations are also offered throughout the day, with upbeat chill-out music in the evening.

Mood: Located within the spa, the inviting setting of mood presents a cuisine that nourishes as well as recharges. From freshly squeezed juices and drinks offered by the vitamin jockey to healthy snacks created using fresh and vibrant ingredients, mood helps to enhance your spa treatment experience and a sense of well being

Kids care: Ritz-Kids Club is renowned with its best Kids Club facilities. The Kids Club area consists of waterslide, kids pool with shower, outdoor play area, "Vegetable Garden" as well as themed air conditioned kids club. A professionally trained team of staff are on hand to ensure the utmost safety and security of children with a full, action packed list of activities enabling parents to enjoy a relaxing break. Babysitters are also available upon request. Reservations for our Kids Club and babysitting are needed in advance with a minimum of 24-hours notice.

Rooms & Rates: internet access at RMB1/minute, or RMB100/day, King size bed (1.8 meters wide, look like very small as the bed is quite high) or two queen size beds (1.5 meters each perfect for family with kids who wants extra bed), five fixture master bathroom, two LCD televisions (one is in the bathroom), DVD player,   MP3/Ipod/Computer connection to play sound through the LCD television. Wireless at RMB60/hour in public area, or RMB100/day up to 24 hours. The rates are with buffet breakfast, local tax, service charge for 2 adults/room. Extra breakfast at RMB170/person/day, extra bed at RMB450/day with breakfast, local tax and service charge. Kid breakfast at RMB100/person/day up to 14 years old.
