Review after personal visit:
Sanya Bird Nest Resort is
part of Sanya Paradise Tropical Park, hiding in the natural
tropical rainforest. It is really a different experience for all
tourists. All rooms are private houses hiding in the lush
tropical rainforest, you don't hear any noise from your
neighbors, but only the birds singing. For someone who is timid
like Caddie, it is really too quite during the night, a little
bit scaring. But it is really a very different experience.
Caddie would say Sanya Bird Nest Resort is not choice for the
aged who have problem with their knees or legs, or toddlers who
can't walk properly. Though you could use the hotel cart for
most transportation, from the main stop to your room, there are
still many steps to climb. With too many steps, it is not
possible to use your strollers The tropical rainforest is not
for someone whose skin is very sensitive to insects.
There are restaurants
offering room services, so easy to get what you like from the 3
restaurants including one Thai Restaurant, one Chinese and one
western.
Rooms & Rates: There
are over 150 rooms, actually private houses hiding in the
tropical rainforest. Spacious rooms are equipped with modern
facilities and services including private bath rooms, comfort
beds and internet access with computer. The following rates also
include the entrance fee to Yalong Bay Earthly Paradise Tropical
Rainforest for 2 persons/room. Extra bed costs CNY550/person
with buffet breakfast, local tax, service charge and entrance
fee, extra person costs CNY200/person buffet breakfast, local tax,service charge and entrance fee. Extra breakfast at
CNY198/person (which is a crazy price in Sanya).
