How could I get to Wuzhishan/Hainan Island from Sanya or Haikou?

Normally 2 nights would be enough if you travel from Sanya to Wuzhishan. Our suggested

 travel plan may be:

Day.1st:
Sanya to Wuzhishan by bus, then visit the local minority museum, walk around in the town, stay in Wuzhishan Resort Hotel for the first night.

Day.2nd:
Travel from Wuzhishan to Shuiman where the Five Finger mountain is located and 28 KM from Wuzhishan. Take bus from Wuzhishan Bus Station which costs RMB7/way and takes 1 hour. Shuiman is a local Li Village. Shuiman means supreme in Li Language. Stay in Shuiman Hotel

Local bus from Wuzhishan to Shuiman:
the first one at 0730am, then every one hour, the last one at 0530pm, RMB10/person/way.

Shuiman to Wuzhishan:
the first 0730am, then every one hour, the last one at 05:30pm. RMB10/person/way.

Climb Five Finger Mountain：maybe the most important thing to do in Wuzhishan Hainan Island:
Are you ready? Please make sure that you have your sports shoes, long pants, shirts with long sleeves. Do prepare a backpack with enough water, some snacks. The best is chocolate. It costs RMB10/person for the entrance fee and takes around 4-5 hours to be on the top and around 2 hours to come down The relax in the Shuiman Hotel .

Day.3rd:
Visit the biggest Butterfly Park (walking distance from the Shuiman Hotel) and the local Li Village. Contact Mr.Li who is a Local Miao People. He has a car which is the first private car in Shuiman. He speaks Chinese, local Hainan dialact, Li Dialact, and Miao Dialect. He will drive his car and it costs RMB100 for return trip. If you are will visit Shuiman on the weekend or during public holiday, try river rafting , then take bus to Wuzhishan from where you will travel back to Sanya.

• How could I get to Wuzhishan from Sanya?
Express Bus from Sanya Bus Station to Wuzhishan Bus Station 08:30,09:20,11:00,12:00,14:00,15:00,16:40,17:30. Take the Public bus that leaves from Downtown Sanya, the Express bus with no stops cost RMB22/person/way and the local bus that makes stops cost RMB16/person, my suggestion is to spend the extra 6RMB and have a pleasant trip.

Take bus from Haikou South Bus Station to Wuzhishan, it costs RMB66/person/way. The bus will go first from East Express Way to lingshui, then Lingshui to Wuzhishan which takes 4 hours.
